In French Guyana, the lust for gold attracts many illegal miners who use large quantities of mercury to extract nuggets. The rivers are polluted, and the Wayana Indians, who have lived there since time immemorial, are becoming ill. A chronicle of an endangered people who tell their story for the first time.
