On 27 December 2008, Operation Cast Lead began. Twenty-one days of shooting at "elephants" and ambulances. Urgent, sleepless, dirty and gesticulating images came from the rare observers who chose to stay in the chaos of Gaza, in the company of Palestinian civilians and medical teams. The result is a poignant and violent documentary that bears witness to the suffering of Palestinian civilians and to the difficulties of providing emergency care in a crisis situation.
