Sounds like a Revolution

S.Love & J.Micherer

USA • 2010 • 58'
vo/ov EN • st/ond FR/NL

Living proof of the power of music as a tool for social combat, activist musicians have passed the torch from generation to generation. Along with concert and video footage, Sounds like a Revolution contains commentary from American musicians such as NOFX, Anti-Flag, Michael Franti, Rage Against the Machine, Pete Seeger, The Dixie Chicks and David Crosby. A new wave of protest music is resisting the post-9/11 environment in which dissidents have sometimes been silenced and the media ignore or censor many "controversial" works.
