If Marc Bolan and Mick Jagger had ‘got it on’ in the 1970s, their love child would probably sound like Romano Nervoso, the self-proclaimed “Godfathers of Spaghetti Rock”. At the controls of this quasi-Italian ensemble, Giacomo Panarasi never fails to bring his audience to the frontiers of rock with a dash of Bolognese sauce. With their first opus Italian Stallion, the group stirred up some rock classics and put all their energy into the album’s 12 songs. Their second album Born to Boogie will be released in October 2012.
