S’engager dans une époque obscure

Miguel Benasayag

French

In view of the disillusionment with progress and the uncertainties of this early 21st century, what forms can commitment take today in view of the complexity of the challenges facing humanity? How can the multiplicity of alternative practices being implemented be made intelligible and reinforced? The researcher-militant, Miguel Benasayag makes the case for situational commitment and issues an invitation to accept uncertainty by re-forging a bond of friendship with conflictuality and fragility.

Conference by Miguel Benasayag (philosopher and psychoanalyst, author of numerous works such as Résister, c’est créer (2002), La fragilité (2004), Éloge du conflit (2007), De l'engagement dans une époque obscure (2011)). In discussion with Daniel Cauchy (educational trainer in development and the environment, member of Rencontre des Continents) and Pablo Servigne (continuous education coordinator at the Barricade non-profit association, primarily on the issues of transition and shared assets). Moderator: Amaury Ghijselings (trainer at the Quinoa non-profit association)
