Despite the Fukushima disaster, the nuclear lobbies have lost none of their vigour. At the same time, the event has served as a real catalyst for the anti-nuclear movements that had been scarcely visible in previous years despite having been active, in some cases, for nearly four decades. Demonstrations, occupations, investigations, humorous presentations, denunciation and the promotion of environmentally friendly alternatives, etc., all initiatives through which the anti-nuclear movement, buoyed by its diversity, has been attempting to pierce the opaque and secret nature of the nuclear industry in order to make it more accountable.
