Never has the technology that surrounds us enabled us to save so much time, yet we are still continuously in a hurry that we no longer have enough time for anything. Have we become slaves to our machines and their speed? Should we be consulting therapists, Zen masters or management experts to help us manage our time? Or is this strained relationship with time symptomatic of a society in crisis, of a contradiction between social organisation and technical resources?
