Continuing Education and Social Transformation
In French
Does continuing education promote grassroots and activist movements? Are its institutionalization and methodologies prepared to contend with the disenchantment of social groups with their capacities to act effectively for the radical transformation of social relationships? Ten years after the vote on the decree that governs it, isn't it time to take stock?
With Jean Blairon (Doctor of Philosophy and Literature, Adult Educator, Director of RTA), Christian Maurel (Sociologist and Philosopher, Co-Founder of the French collective Education Populaire et Transformation Sociale), Sylvie Pinchart (directrice Lire et Ecrire Féd Wallonie Bruxelles) et Yanic Samzun (Secretary General of PAC, President of the High Council on Continuing Education). Moderator: Céline Martin (Central Library of Province de Liège)
