Disobedience is also about questioning the legitimacy of an order. In the mental health and social work fields, multiple constraints, both institutional and cultural, often lead workers towards adaptive behaviours, ranging from submission to resistance… It’s the art of navigating between one’s own know-how and paradoxical orders. And what if these adaptations reveal the true creativity of these oft-neglected professions and offer fragments for a different future?
