Théâtre National
A lonely and arrogant, cynical and insolent orator stands, seemingly with the entire nation at his feet, unscrupulously delighted by the population's docility, submission of the trade unions and globalised market. In this brilliant, dark dialogue penned by Celestini, David Murgia mixes wit with cynicism, confronting us to the vices and flaws of today’s system in an ultimate cry. We are left before the stage with forced smiles, doubts, and why not, our yearning for a rivoluzione silenziosa.
