The clothes industry ties the whole world together: from manufacturer to consumer and the cost of labour to retail price. When prices reach rock bottom and when the cogs in the industrial machine go at full speed, manufacturing countries get the worst deal. The world of fashion is the western starting point for this journey through the geography of textiles that unravels an unfair social and environmental system that we support every time we buy a cheap item of clothing.
