"We always said I was crazy. Before, I spoke to God but he never answered me. And suddenly, you hear two voices, but you also hear the voices of the people around you, you hear what people are thinking and you no longer know if it's the voices, you no longer know if it's your imagination, you no longer know!". Pierrot was, let's say, "normal" when he used to walk at the edge of madness and normality, like everyone else. Then one day he fell off the edge. From behind his bar, he tells us about the voices, the thoughts in his head, the Virgin Mary, angels, the hospital, the solitude, his dreams, etc.
Bringing together people who have experienced psychiatry, L'appétit des indigeste builds a bridge between those who were crazy and those who never questioned their madness.
