Why do young westerners leave their country to take part to the jihad in Syria, Somalia or elsewhere? The directors follow the case of a small group of Danes who gradually became obsessed by the country before being sent to train as suicide bombers in the Middle East. Taking a closer look at indoctrination, this film is a heart-wrenching account of the group’s only survivor and through the eyes of a father looking for his son in an attempt to understand what makes youths choose this path.
