Independent Japanese journalist, Takeharu Watai returns to Baghdad just before the American invasion that took place in March 2003 and meets several people who pulled down the statue of Saddam Hussein and became disappointed when the bombs never stopped falling. The director kept friendly contacts with a family for ten years and followed the country's events through their eyes. What became of this family? The tragic fate of these characters reveals the daily reality of war.
