The status of women in India is catastrophic. Rape, crime and ill treatment are a regular occurrence. In December 2012, six men on a bus raped a young 23-year-old woman. Jyoti Singh died thirteen days later. The rapists were arrested and sentenced. The director revisits this tragedy and interviews the attackers, their families, and their lawyers. This powerful piece was banned in India.
