After eighteen years as part of the cult roots reggae group The Gladiators - when he was the chief instigator of their golden era along with Albert Griffiths, Clinton Fearon is taking off on a brilliant solo career. Far from just playing the many legendary songs of The Gladiators, Clinton Fearon lets his songwriting talent guide him to produce roots reggae gems such as the wonderful Goodness. Today, his repertoire spans over forty-five years of Jamaican music: a trip through gospel, nyabinghi, ska, rocksteady and reggae. On stage, the artist gives his heart and soul, playing, singing and speaking with his audience. Clinton Fearon will close out the 2016 Festival of Liberties in style and it’s a free concert you should not miss.
