As an iconic figure of abstract hip-hop and a genius of sampling, DJ Shadow, that crazy hacker of obscure music, will make the Festival of Liberties’ audience dance. Constantly reinventing himself, DJ Shadow is once again shaking up the game. After having created almost film-like instrumental compositions, trip-hop and hip-hop, with some incursions into the pop world, the latest productions from this hero of the groovers have had more of an electro vibe. But true to his spirit of originality, he avoids going overboard with technological equipment, instead retaining a real human, homemade and organic dimension.
