In Kolwezi, a small mining city of 500,000 inhabitants in the south-east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, there is no local press but there is a small television channel run by a handful of people, to inform the public about the various news events, to challenge politicians and to present...magicians. Although penniless, this little operation has a highly surreal feel to it and often steps up as an "upholder of the law" in the daily life of the Congolese.
