How should we film the state of crisis (political, social, ecological) in which our world exists today? While the state of the world requires us to immediately address these problems, the documentary form imposes other timeframes. How do we reconcile the urgency of events, the time imperatives for the individual, the community, the scientist or for learning, with the time needed for filming?
