Samuel in the Clouds

Pieter Van Eeck

BE/NL • 2016 • 70’ • VO st Fr/Nl

The melting of the ice caps is one of the symbols of the current environmental crisis. In Bolivia, the lack of snow has disrupted the lifestyle of mountain inhabitants. While scientists are measuring the impact of climate change, Samuel, whose family has lived and worked for generations in the mountains, cannot bring himself to go live in La Paz.

Suivi d’une rencontre avec Reginald Lorrain (professeur honoraire de l’ULB, ancien directeur du Laboratoire de Glaciologie de la Faculté des Sciences).
