Raving Iran

Susanne Regina Meures

CH • 2016 85’ • VO/OV st Fr/En

Two DJs, fans of electro and festivals, defy all risks to organize "rave parties" (parties playing electronic music) in Iran. The ongoing threat of torture and prison can’t stop them dreaming of a free world. When they end up being invited to play at a festival in Switzerland, Anoosh and Arash head off with a five-day visa in their pocket. What will they do? They are homesick for Iran, but the world is finally opening up to them.
