In October 2014, President Blaise Compaoré attempted to reform the Constitution of Burkina Faso in order to stay in power. Exasperated, the Burkinabé people took to the streets and in six days, forced the dictator out of office after more than twenty-seven years. Then began the transition period, while awaiting elections. Will the Burkinabé people succeed in pulling off this attempted African revolution?
