Throughout the Western world, workers' rights are being jeopardised by the strong advance of neo-liberal policies, which seek to make work so flexible that it borders on slavery. Such is the case in Belgium and in France, where new labour laws are up for debate in society, causing a clash between antagonistic logics. At the same time, technological progress is enabling the emergence and quasi-viral spread of initiatives which are presented as coming from the collaborative economy, even though they are generating enormous profit. Is this kind of Uberisation of the economy consistent with the logic of the roll-back of workers' rights? How do we resist it?
