Systems are complex arrangements of interconnected, regulated elements in order to fulfil functions and ensure their own perpetuation. We become wary when they circumscribe and oppress individuals, such as the technical-economic system. But when we analyse them from the interactions that make them up, we restore a space for freedom, the self and emerging ideas. If we see in them social safety nets or ways to rebound, we discover that individuals are made fragile less by the systems themselves than by contemporary ultra-forces that destabilise them.
