Started in 2014 with Edward Snowden, the cycle of reflection about the watchdogs of democracy known as whistleblowers will concern itself this year with the real cost - in terms of legal action and reprisals - of these insurrections of conscience serving the public good. At what cost and for what results? What concrete and ethical initiatives can society implement to take these revelations into account, so that they don’t go unheeded?
