Vincent Hennebicq takes on The Attack, a novel by Algerian author Yasmina Khadra. It is the story of Amine, an Arab Israeli surgeon who has to operate all day on the survivors of an attack. He finishes his long day in the emergency room only to discover that the suicide bomber behind the attack is none other than his wife. And so begins a journey toward the truth – the truth of a complex territorial and cultural identity. On the strength of various testimonies, the film slides from fiction into documentary, supported by four musicians and one solo artist.
