Today, it seems like the people's interests are continually trampled on, and that only the interests of the wealthy can be satisfied by our political, economic, and social structures. How does the power of the wealthy get invited into the institutions of people's power? And how can the act of appropriating pointlessly enormous amounts of capital be justified, when the majority is living in deprivation and need?
