Formed in working-class Paris in the 1980s, this charismatic and raucous tribe quickly stood out with their many transnational influences, both Parisian and Anglo-Saxon, combining waltz and polka, flamenco and raï, in festive compositions.
Emblematic figures of the French alternative scene, Les Négresses Vertes will continue their anniversary tour for the ‘Mlah’ album on the opening night of the 2019 Festival des Libertés, with a concert featuring energy and humanity.
