In July 2017, the G20 counter-summit in Hamburg, Germany, was met with an unprecedented crackdown. The 31,000 police officers, surrounding the 100,000 demonstrators, conducted what the filmmakers call ‘the largest police operation since WWII’ A rather significant event, analysed through meetings with representatives from the police, the media, the legal system and the social movements in attendance.
