Based on fragments retrieved from the memoirs of the filmmaker’s grandmother, the film recounts the story of a small group of women who survived Auschwitz. The last survivor, Rosette, kept quiet for 60 years. Today, in front of the camera, her memories come back to life. Her account is powerful, informative and raises questions about what Auschwitz means today.
