Relationships of power, counter-power, alliance and opposition have affected non-profits since the beginning. Non-profits are rife with ambiguities, especially since their missions can be carried out through a delegation of public services, while also casting a critical eye on them. How do these paradoxes affect the non-profit sector? What limits and opportunities are created by this singular position in the democratic and political balance?
