Health care is not immune to new technologies, and the health crisis has accelerated this movement. E-health gives patients greater autonomy, but also tends to make them accountable, and can even exert control over them. Health care access and rationalisation as well as sharing health-related data are just some of the issues which post-covid health policies will have to address as part of the digital transition.
