Much to the delight of their audience, the duo known as Juicy have the nice habit of reinventing themselves, upending their own pieces, blending today’s music with jazz or classical, and mixing electronic with acoustic instruments. Juicy Orchestra is one of the duo’s many forms. And when Juicy, aim big: they decide to invite seven flautists from Ensemble Vibrations and 14 strings conducted by Denis Menier. They will open this year’s edition of Festival des Libertés with a spectacular acoustic set, arranged by composer Jean-Marie Rens. A kind of invitation to multiplicity.
