The criminalisation of solidarity through legal and/or dissuasive measures is not a new phenomenon. Despite this, citizens from all walks of life continue to help migrants. What do these acts of civil disobedience mean in practice? What are the consequences?  What forms of resistance are being organised to unite against the states' "lawfare" politics?
