Is it possible to imagine the history of conquest and colonisation from a global perspective? Are there any links between the conquistadors who conquered the New World in the 15th and 16th centuries and the European colonisers in Africa in the 19th and 20th centuries? How can we imagine decolonial thinking without continental borders?
