Uzi Freyja was born from the meeting between Kelly Rose, an English-speaking Parisian of Cameroonian origin, and Stuntman5 during an open mic in the streets of Nantes in 2019. Uzi Freyja’s music features activist and sensual lyrics on tracks influenced by artists such as Death Grips and Ho99o9. This duo’s music constantly reinvents itself to address both the head and the feet, telling of the world’s absurdity while celebrating it. After several dozen live punches where Kelly Rose asserts herself as a total MC, the duo is back with a second uncompromising EP with club accents, vindictive rap and electro.
