Extractivist companies, which focus primarily on extracting and intensively exploiting natural resources, are synonymous with socio-economic dominance and damage to the ecosystem. What legal, governmental and civic responses can repair contexts damaged by the exploitation and appropriation of natural resources? What would a non-extractivist global economy look like?
