Visages traqués, libertés sous surveillance ?

Algorithmic video surveillance is increasingly expanding at both the Belgian and European levels, often legitimized by exceptional laws that are becoming permanent. At the borders, the European Union collects biometric data from asylum seekers, now including facial images, in order to compare databases and prevent multiple applications.

All these breaches contribute to pursuing increasingly repressive security objectives and the constant risk of mass surveillance.
