Après l’économie de marché ?

French

Most current economic critics are focusing on neo-liberalism and the financial bubble, but what if the reality is that the economy’s financialisation simply enabled the capitalist model to last beyond the limits that could otherwise have been expected? Neo-liberalism would then have simply been the means by which the capitalist experience was prolonged rather than the economic policy that jeopardised it. To what extent can we now move beyond the capitalist system? Should we not be considering a radical change in the economic paradigm, in the system of distribution of resources? It is a change that as much concerns our ways of thinking as our behaviour.
