Started in 1985, in one of Boston’s most devastated neighbourhoods, the Dudley Street initiative has transformed a lawless zone into a flourishing area, while remaining accessible for its original residents. Today, this Community Land Trust has become a model for urban development in the United States, and it continues to resist the effects of the housing crisis.
