In Uganda, more than 85% of the population is Christian, including a large number of evangelicals. American evangelical missionaries have made the country their bridgehead in Africa, spreading the faith thanks to young zealots who train local missionaries. One of the consequences of this large-scale brainwashing is homophobia among the population, which the government has transcribed into murderous laws.
