The metropolis is simultaneously the space we live in, and also a method of management, governing, control and constraint. There is very little space left for citizens’ initiative, self-organisation or the politicisation of everyday issues. Where are the grey areas or the cracks? How do we live within these spaces, how do we question these realities and develop their political potential?
