L’impératif de désobéissance

From Antigone to Henry David Thoreau and José Bové, the question of disobedience is not new but is constantly rearing its head as society changes. What does disobedience mean today? Is disobedience a hindrance to or safeguard of democracy? Are some forms of disobedience more acceptable than others?

Lecture by Jean-Marie Muller (philosopher and writer, author of L'impératif de désobéissance. Fondements philosophiques et stratégiques de la désobéissance civile). Discussion with participants from the Disobedience Forum and with the audience.
