The Collectif Krasnyi was founded in 2011 and brings together a dozen of committed photographers. Their view is critical, their viewpoint, affirmed. They place themselves on the side of the victims of the ultra liberal system and stand along those who try to resist its ravages.

During the Festival des Libertés, their photographs will be featured in thematic series going back through the past three years.

The first series will focus on the movements of undocumented individuals. The Collectif explores the many facets of the endless fight of those who do not possess the precious document to enjoy the right to live in our ageing administrative states.

A second show will concentrate on the battle of workers throughout Europe and will look at all those daring to defy competitiveness, refusing to accept any form of austerity.

A third exhibition will look at the ‘Areas to Defend’ (ATD). Place of resistance confronted to the ‘Imposed Great Useless Projects’, the ATD is also an experimental laboratory of open life, where one lives and fights.

Mise en espace de l’exposition et scénographie générale du Festival des Libertés : Béatrice Massinger.
