Looking at the standardisation of the media discourse and regular crises affecting information, we suggest taking a critical look at the current capacity of the press to constitute a real counter-power vis-à-vis harnessing attempts from economical and political groups of influence. The participants will debate freedom and independence of the press vis-à-vis its censors.
