For twenty years, a war between the government and a group of rebels has been tearing Uganda apart. Each year, the rebels kidnap thousands of children to serve in their ranks. Desperate for a solution, the government has forced 1.7 million people to live in camps in order to deprive the rebels of supplies and new recruits. Far from offering the protection promised, these camps are the scene of many deaths. The film follows five people who take us right to the heart of the conflict.
