Three actresses (Manuelle Ammoun, Laurence Voreux and Lisou de Henau) act in a minimalist setting. Eleven chapters retrace the life of Agota. Happy childhood, poverty after war, years of boarding school, the death of Stalin, mother tongue and enemy languages, fleeing, arrival in Lausanne with her baby. These stories are not sad, but amusing. Short sentences, precise words, frank lucidity and humour, it is the world of Agota Kristof.

The show will be followed by an exchange between the audience, people learning to read and write, actors, the director, members of "Lire et Ecrire" (“Reading and Writing”) and the teacher of the reading and writing lessons of "Bruxelles Laique".
