The political challenges of the food crisis
Flagey - Studio 5
Poor harvests, climate change, increasing fuel prices and enthusiasm for bio fuels… In the current context of crisis and under-investment in sustainable farming structures, the disappearance of family farming urgently necessitates the serious, radical questioning of current agricultural policies. Yet, the barriers, obstacles and prohibitions that oppose its deployment are many. How can we ensure that the right to food and food sovereignty does not remain wishful thinking?

With: Olivier de Schutter (special reported to the United Nations for the right to food), Jean-Jacques Grodent (SOS Faim) and a member of FUGEA.

Partners : CNCD, Plate-forme souveraineté alimentaire, FUGEA.

Preceded by the film "We Feed The World"
