Should we limit freedom of expression?
Fr/Nl
Flagey - Studio 1
In a democracy, freedom of expression is a right regarded as inalienable. In the name of democratic principles, laws (condemning, racism or revisionism, for example) can limit this right. It can also be limited by strategies, also democratic, for fighting against the Extreme Right, for example. Can we stop the freedom of expression of the enemies of the freedom of expression? Is this a good strategy? Is this not a contradiction in principle?
With Edouard Delruelle (Director of the Centre pour l’égalité des chances et la lutte contre le racisme), opposite Jean Bricmont (Physicist and author of numerous political articles).
