After eight years away from the stage, the group ZEBDA has gotten back together and is giving its first concert in Belgium at Festival des Libertés. The Toulouse natives are back and more politically committed than ever, ready to challenge the Sarkozy era, with the desire to say things and support causes, to showcase the words of the “banlieue” and to help immigration regain some of its dignity. ZEBDA is an electric and euphoric alchemy between a group of friends and their audience, between realistic and poetic lyrics, and between sounds with influences in rock, rap, rai and reggae with a dash of punk. Above all, Zebda is, and has always been, an indestructible state of mind and an authenticity of the word. After eight years of frenetic activity of all types, “les Motivés” are going to set the night on fire!
